I have to say that I have really enjoyed taking photos over the last month. There has been a sense of personal disaster, changes, challenges and growth all mixed together. I won't go into too many details about the downer stuff but let's just say that I had a new found appreciation for certain things.
I have also enjoyed challenging myself further with playing around with colors and on board settings (and manul tweaking) of the cameras I used. The Canon PowerShot and OLympus E 300 are the two main work horses for me and they have served me well.
The vibe that I have been going for is based on some photos that I admired in a variety of tourbooks and CD cover art. I have come nowhere near where I want to be but it has been a fun start. I consider this point in time to be the demarcation point in so many ways...breaking from old constraints and implementing a variety of stylistic experiments. It should be fun and a learning experience.
